Profile elected a growth company of the year 2015 in Eastern Finland

EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 – jury awarded today from more than 60 Finnish companies a total of 13 of the most eminent growth entrepreneurs. Prizes were distributed in Eastern Finland, Northern Finland, Uusimaa, Western Finland and Häme and Central Finland Owner of entrepreneurs. Eastern Finland Award took Marko Repo from Profile Vehicles Oy.

Entrepreneur Marko Repo and his Profile Vehicles Oy – which main business is design, development and manufacture of Special vehicles – such as ambulances – was recognized on Monday, EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 -competition. He was one of 13 award-winning growth entrepreneur.

– Marko Repo has achieved fantastic growth in Finland and internationally. The company operates in a competitive market, but has managed to stand out from its competitors by means of technology choices, innovation and strategic partnerships, justifies the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 -competition Jury Chairman Philip Aminoff selection panel.The company's turnover has increased by almost 90 per cent over the last three years. Profile Vehicles Oy's turnover in 2014 was EUR 32.6 million and a payroll of 150.

The winning companies increased their turnover by 425 percent in three years

EY, organized by the since 2003. In Finland, the competition is looking for growth companies and responsible business builders. In the competition there is young starters as well as older hard-working family companies, which combines a profitably growing the business and promising prospects.

– EY Entrepreneur competition with the participation of entrepreneurs spectacular show that our country can be found, despite the gloomy economic news of great success stories in various fields, from different parts of Finnish. The combined turnover Competition 13 Regional winner of over EUR 2 billion last year. In the past three years, these companies have increased their turnover by a staggering 425 per cent. Growth has been very profitable and future growth prospects very promising. Companies operating in a responsible manner and most of them are international success stories. This reflects the fact that Finland has good conditions for entrepreneurship through economic growth, says Aminoff.

In the competition there was independent jury, whose members represent each of the top in their fields of expertise and experience. In addition to Philip Aminoff, the Jury consist of Member of the Board of Rovio, Mikael Hed, the double Formula 1 World Champion Mika Häkkinen, Federation of Finnish Financial Piia-Noora Kauppi, as well as last year's EC Entrepreneur of the Year -competition Finnish winner, Pihlajalinna founder and CEO Mikko Wirén.
